About
Narina is a professional contemporary dance artist who is interested in the beauty and expressivity of dance, and its ability to transfer human experience into the universal language of movement. Her movement vocabulary has breath, fluidity, and expansion at its core, being influenced by her Humphrey, Graham, release and ballet training, with a practice deeply rooted in improvisation and moving from within in relation to music. She likes exploring different characters, which makes her a versatile performer capable of appearing strong, confident and fun, but also delicate, gentle and vulnerable towards audiences.
As a dance teacher Narina's approach is focused on developing technique as a basis to build one's one potential with the aim to unlock freedom of movement in participants and help them connect to their own creative voice.
Regarding her creative approach, Narina is particularly interested in the beauty in harmony, connections in diversity and how we can amplify the human experience to build togetherness.
